How do I Transfer Data from One Computer to Another over my network?
Q. I have heard that I can transfer data (in this case 70GB of music) from my desktop computer to my laptop computer by way of my wireless network. Does this mean that I can just send them directly from one computer to another? Or do I need to set something up?

If someone could just explain to me how this is done and why it is more efficient than an external harddrive that would be great.

Thank you!

How to transfer data from my laptop to my home computer?
Q. My laptop has Vista, my home computer has xp. So how to transfer data from one to another?

A. Several ways.

You could use a USB bridge cable to directly connect the two computers and transfer files the way you move them around between folders.

You could use a USB flash drive if the files aren't that big.

You could use a portable hard drive if you have a lot of large files.

You could burn them onto a CD using your laptop and copy them from the CD using your home computer.
