Would you please help me by providing step by step guideline? Also, please let me know what types of equipments are used to serve this purpose?

Appreciate, if you would come back at your earliest.

Answer
Well you are looking at some serious money! Can I ask why you don't just get a dedicated T1 line from location to location? Or use a web server to store data?

Is being able to transfer data to another smartphone by them simply touching a feature you really want?

So now 2 android smartphones can transfer data like playlists to each other by them simply touching. Is that a feature you really want in a smartphone? I don't like the idea of such an easy transfer of data. I am thinking data you don't want in there could get transferred.

What is the best way to transfer data between 2 computers?

Is it possible to transfer data with just a RJ-45 cable, or do I need to get an expensive USB data transfer cable? I have done it with a wireless network in the past, but it is extremely slow. It took about 24 hours to transfer 15 gigs. What should I do?

Answer
The best way to do this is using a Crossover Ethernet cable. You can plug one end of this onto the network port on one computer, and the other end into the network port on the second computer. This connects the two directly with speeds up to 1gbps (approx. 20 times faster than standard 54mbps wireless)

You will need to set up a shared folder, though, and make sure the wireless connection is DISABLED, as the wireless will automatically override the wired connection :)

How do I transfer data directly between computers?

I have a desktop, and laptop I wish to transfer data between. I can do this over the internet, but I know that a direct connection would be fastest. How do I do this?

Burning a disc might work, also using a jump drive, but I'd rather a transfer cable, that will work in ALL situations.

Answer
Try either a USB Data Transfer cable or
An Ethernet crossover cable.
